You are looking at a rare copy of Glimpses of Bermuda by Ethel & Catherine F. Tucker book. The inside of this book is held together by string which is the way it was made. It has images of famous paintings that were done by Ethel & Catherine Tucker. There are 12 of these colored pictures and a discription of each. Each of the pictures are a soft paper material and not a postcard. Ethel and Catherine were famous for their paintings some of which were owned by the Royal Family. They studied art in America and returned to Bermuda where they became famous for their Bermuda artwork. The side of this book identifies it as a seventh printing. It was printed in Great Britain and measures 6.3 inches across and 9.3 inches long. It contains 12 pictures of art made famous by the Tucker sisters. The item is in used condition and does have some scratch and scuff marks on both the front and back covers as well as fraying around the edges of the book and a corner with a missing piece. The book is really stiff and almost feels like it has a laminated coating on it. Someone has written on the inside of this book a dedication to his grandmother in black pen and dated it 1942. Shipping for this item is $4 in the U.S. This item will not be made available to International bidders. Don't forget to check out my other items. I offer a $2 shipping discount on additional items won and paid for together. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions you may have. (bob)
