2 Type 56 Vacuum Tubes RARE 1930’s Globe Triodes These used tubes have been tested for mutual conductance. On my Hickok TV-7 tester they read 65 and 73. A reading of 37 would represent the minimum recommended value. These used tubes are from 1930’s USA production. There is one FADA brand and one Majestic brand tube in this lot. The bases are tight and there is no loose material or rattle in the tubes. The logos are hot-stamped (engraved) into the bases. The 56 is a medium-mu triode and is used as a detector amplifier or oscillator tube. The filament is 2.5 volts at 1.0 amp. Other than the filament voltage, the 56 is identical to type 76.
