Just in time for Fathers Day, this beautiful set of Bookends featuring a Fisherman with Ships wheel. Engraved on base where he stands is following:"They that go down to the sea in ships". The base of bookends (bottom) has the following: Inscribed with the words, "They that go down to the sea in ships", the Gloucester Fisherman was erected by the City of Gloucester in 1923 and stands in memory of all the seamen who through all the years have found a last resting place in the waters that wash every shore. Philadelphia Manufacturing Company. These two bookends are in Copper, great condition, and will become an heirloom for whomever has them. Size is 6" tall x 5" wide.
