These little gems were available everyday back in the1930's but have almost become non-existent. Emily D. Anderson was famous for theselittle paintings of Gloucester Harbor This painting depicts the Old Port in GloucesterMassachusetts with the fish shacks and factory's lining the back shoreline along withthe church steeples in the far distance. The detail in such a small piece is amazing...Painting was done on old porous board and are rough hand cut approximately 3 1/2" x4 1/4" and come housed in a gold wood frames. The frame measures about 4 1/4" x 5". Painting is signed in the lower left hand side " E. D. Anderson ". Attached to the backof the painting are some nice biography's along with the stickers from J.A. Nunes Artsand Gift Shop which was in Gloucester Massachusetts years ago. This is a very specialopportunity to own a rare miniature oil painting by Gloucester native artist " Emily DeliaAnderson ".
