This is ACME/GMP's 1/18 scale replica of the Fuel Altered dragster, the "Rat Trap". This replica is as it was raced with gray supercharger housing, dark grey front wheels and black headers (not chromed like the 20th anniversary edition). No other Fuel Altered has been as highly publicized as the Rat Trap. Its unique construction and design were an innovation unmatched by the other Fuel Altereds of its time. Independent front suspension was first criticized and laughed at by its competitors, but later earned the respect of those who taunted it. The original car competed from 1969 through 1973 and terrorized the tracks and contenders with it's wild rides down the 1/4 mile. Now is your chance to own a part of drag racing's altered past with this limited edition 1:18 scale replica of the original Rat Trap.
