Lovely vintage Gmundner Keramik tea set. The hand decoration is done entirely in shades of black and grey on the cream colored ware. Unable to find a name for this pattern, but it shows a young couple in traditional dress in various poses in the landscape.The set consists of a teapot, covered creamer, covered sugar, and four footed cups and saucers.The overall condition of the set is excellent, but the teapot is damaged, with a long crack running down the length of one side, and several small chips at the spout, plus a chip under the rim of the lid. In addition, one of the cups has crack running from the rim most of the way to the bottom of the bowl. The sugar bowl lid has a couple of very small chips on the inside rim, and do not detract in any way from the function or beauty of the piece, but are mentioned for accuracy.
