godber burnham ,dry creek natural turquoise this mining claim produced some super turquoise in its time also the rare white buffalo with spider web ,mined over 30 years ago.great preform this is real white turquoise with real spider web very hard ..nice 185 cts 37 grams . this is a solid stone this is not a doublet no backing,, preformed by old miner ,nice pattern this will be a great stone as is or in jewelry, super price , I was at a native american indian art show at the jean autry western heritage museum, two well know navajo silver smiths were showing their stuff ,,was able to talk with them a bit,, turquoise came up ,,they called, this Sacred buffalo Turquoise from the old burnham mine,, I came across some in the old box of stuff I got from the old miner Also knows as "White Turquoise"or "Sacred Buffalo Turquoise" some Dry Creek Turquoise has a characteristic white with brown webbing is as rare as the white buffalo, it is sometimes referred to as Sacred Buffalo because its so rear ,White turquoise was found in the Dry Creek Mine near Battle Mountain, Nevada. The mine is closed. This stone is very rare and collectible. ,,,,,, When discovered in the Dry Creek Mine ,the Shoshone Indian Reservation near Battle Mountain, Nevada in 1993, they (the discoverers) were not sure what it was.
