Goebel Hummel Figurine #616 FIRST ISSUE with Original Box "PARADE Of LIGHTS" TMK - 7 ____________________________ This auction is for Hummel figurine #616 entitled "Parade of Lights". Released in 1993, it seems to be a cousin of Carnival (Hummel 328). This figurine is approx. 6" tall. Incised on the top of the base is M.I. Hummel and the little label with the Hummel's title still remains on the side. Underneath the base is the blue TMK-7 mark, and incised is the Hummel number 616 and 1990 mold induction date. Also appearing is the special blue First Issue backstamp. Parade of Lights comes with it's original sturdy Hummel box. The box has a torn paper area and the Hummel name hand-written on one side (shown in last photo). It is being listed with NO RESERVE. Condition : Excellent near MINT condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. It is common for vintage pieces such as these to have glaze crazing, but this lovely piece has none. The detail and colors on this piece are exquisite and it has absolutely no flaws that I can see. The 2004 Warman's Hummel Field Guide lists the value to be $305. Please view the photos and see for yourself what an exceptional piece "Parade of LIghts" would make to your collection or as a special Christmas gift. Over the next few weeks/months I will be listing over 350 Hummels from my grandmother' read more
