GOEBEL MINIATURE COMPANY ROBERT OLSZEWSKI'S MINIATURE HUMMEL FIGURINES THE "COLLECTOR'S SERIES" =============================================== You are bidding on three bronze miniature collectible Hummels, designed and handsculpted by Robert Olszewski, using the "lost wax process" form of art. The mini Hummels offered in this auction were created exclusively for the Goebel Miniature Company as unique collector pieces solely offered to members of the Goebel Collector Club during the issue years of 1983-1988 as an incentive for members to renew their membership or as an incentive for new subscribers to the club. The miniature bronze figurines are entitled "Valentine Gift", "What Now?" and "Honey Lover". They are Item Numbers are 248-P, 249-P, and 247-P, respectively and each measure approximately 1/2" to 3/4" in height. These figurines were designed by Robert Olszewski as a "two-fold" collectible, meaning that each piece of the Collector series was designed to have a special feature; as "multi-purpose miniatures". These works of art could each be displayed individually as a stand alone miniature figurine or the figurine could remain encased in its jewelry cage and worn as pendants.
