This is a 19 1/2" long by 14" tall by 5 1/2" deep, VINTAGE and ORIGINAL, Plastic, metal Glass Neon Tube 3-D DIORAMA Beer Sign Light Display for Goetz Country Club Pilsner Beer. Brewed by the M.K. Goetz Brewing Company, St. Joseph, Missouri from 1933 until 1960. The sign was made by the Embosograph Display Company, Chicago, Illinois. I would date this early late 1940's early 1950's. This Display Diorama features a VERY DETAILED (Gun Barrel engraved) Six Inch Six Shooter Pistol Gun set over a mural print of a cowboy on Horseback in an American Indian fight using the gun displayed. The gun is encased in a hard clear plastic. IT LIGHTS UP from the bottom by use of a long neon florescant light tube. This sign is complete and lights up with the transformer on the cord. It's in Great condition but the clear plastic has yellowed with age and has dirt on the inside. I have not attempted to clean it. This is a very Rare HARD TO FIND unusal Breweriana (or Gun) Advertising Piece. It will look GREAT in your collection. Low start, shipping (heavy/well built), and NO reserve so bid now because it will sell to someone. See my feedback (and other auctions) and bid with confidence. |
