Here's a 1st edition copy of George S. Clason's classic work of financial advice, "Gold Ahead: A Saga for Practical Treasure Hunters," with the scarce original dust jacket. Published in 1937 by The Institute of Financial Education (Denver, CO), it's a 223 page, 5.25"x7.75" hardcover. It seems to be a variant of the 1st edition with a promotional sheet bound in at the front touting the book's qualities. There are black-and-white illustrations throughout by Harry G. Miller and M. It's still influential and relevant today - check out the many youtube reviews and testimonials. The book is in very good condition. The dust jacket is still colorful and vibrant. It has a small tear and crease at the spine top, light wear at the corners, a touch of rubbing, wrinkles at the back bottom corner. The $2.50 price on the flap is NOT clipped. The blue cloth boards are lightly bumped at the front top corner, show traces of shelf wear along the bottom edge. The interior is clean and unmarked except for an almost-entirely read more
