This listing is for a very sweet, romantic vintage gold filled locket set with a crescent moon and star motif of rose cut rhinestones. This locket is in much-loved but beautiful and very wearable vintage condition. Locket snaps shut firmly and stays closed when worn. The top ring and bale are solid and stable. The locket's thick gold fill, while still shiny and smooth, shows signs of surface wear inside and out. All of the rhinestones are intact, but have darkened somewhat. The celluloid covers that would have once protected photos are missing, as is the little oval metal plate inside that would have had the maker's mark on it. Hand-scratched markings inside appear to say "44 LD VIII" along with a few other scratched "X" marks. * * * Please review all photos carefully, as they are an important part of the description.
