This is an auction for an absolutely fabulous Bronze & Ching Hai Jade vase. The Jade and Bronze is from the early 1950s. The early 1950s was the time the Communist Government began full power. Items made at this time were Government controlled. The Ching Hai vase is so unusually finished with a fabulous Bronze open work gilt with gold over the Bronze. Over the years, the natural aging has lent a wonderful patina to the vase. The design is the two royal creatures...The Dragon and the Phoenix. Bodies of the Dragon & Phoenix wrap and intertwine in a Masterful open work design. T are no damages - no chips - absolutely an amazing vase! T he precious workmanship is from an era when China was still producing fine art. As my clients know - I only sell the real thing and far below market price. Not really fond of reserve auctions, but with such high quality items...they wholesale for more than ridiculous prices!! Always available for questions via email. The Ching Hai Jade Vase measures 8-3/4" high, and approx 4-1/2" in circumstance. Buyer pays shipping and insurance of $9.85 in US 48 States via Fed Ex. International Buyers pay per country via Postal system. Seller will pay packaging and package with extreme care. Seller will combine shipping to save Buyer unnecessary shipping charges.
