“GOLD GRABBER” HIGHBANKER The best highbanker / concentrator you will find in a reasonable price range. Works great using a 2 inch trash pump (not included)—does not require a high pressure pump. Does so much more than the typical sluice box based highbanker. The material that you shovel into the upper part of the unit (hopper) will be held by water pressure in the upper part of the box, dissolving clay and washing everything clean. Just momentarily block the spray with your hand or shoveling tool to let it drop. The oversize material will be ejected by the grizzly in the opposite direction of the sluice (see photos). No need to pre-screen your material. I have used this both for bank-run material, and for final cleanup of my dredge concentrates. I was running a 6 inch dredge in Idaho for a number of summers and produced about 5 gallons of concentrate per day. It consisted of gold, black sands, garnet, and fractured pyrites and was extremely hard to pan out. I was able to run the 5 gallons of concentrate through the Gold Grabber with no loss in about 30 minutes. I know t was no gold loss for as you can see in one of the photos, I discharged the Gold Grabber into a 4 foot Keene sluice box and panned that material out separately to test for loss.
