Authentic LIMOGES box from France There is no paint loss, chips or cracks. White spots are glare from the lights. Measures 2 inches x 2 inches Marked on the bottom with Limoges, France, Peint Main Eagle clasp Eagle painted inside Comes with an open book that reads, "God Bless America". It is removable for display. Packaged in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity. I've had some customers who want to know if a box is shipped in the "original" Limoges box. I really don't know what that is. The only company I have dealt with that marked boxes with the contents is Rochard. Rochard doesn't continue the practice anymore. I usually purchase Limoges in larger quantities so the Limoges may be packed in bubble wrap without a box and a certificate of authenticity that indicates a specific Limoges workshop. This saves me the cost of heavier shipments and the savings can be passed to the buyer. Many larger dealers create their own boxes, labels, and certificates for their Limoges.
