Original Map - circa 1750. Location: West Africa - Cameroon. FALEME ET SANAGA Rivers through the gold region of West Africa. The map includes the location of mine sites and town sites. (Carte / Du Cours des Rivieres de FALEME ET SANAGA / DANS LES PAYS DE / BAMBUC ET TAMBA AWRA / Leve' sur les Lieux par / Mr Compagnon). Map area measures: 11in. X 11in. In overall good condition. The map appears to have been originally folded. T are two edge tears that have been repaired in the past. Nice coloration - unknown if original, or added at a later date.
