You are bidding on a scrap lot weighing more than 22.4g (grams). Although the items might be repairable, it is best to consider them scrap. I will do my best to describe these items as accurately as possible. BUT I am 100% an amateur at testing metals. I did clean the Mizar unit and the acid stone between tests. The descriptions below are based on my personal opinions. Please look at the pictures carefully. You probably know a lot more about this stuff than I do! #1 Cufflink is stamped 14K weight 4.1g. I also tested with Mizar and acid and obtained the same results. #2 Earring - screw back, round mod design, very bright. Marked 14k with a symbol I don't recognize. Acid test agreed that it was at least 14K but less than 18. Weight 2.9g. #3 Necklace - broken may be repairable. butterfly pendant. acid test at 10k. Weight 2.1g. #4 Screwback - swirly round earring - very shiny bright. marked pat. no 3,176,475. Tested 12K on the Mizar and less than 14 with Acid. Assuming the 12K is correct. Weight 2.9g. #5 Clip on earring - tested 9k or greater with Mizar but over 10K and less than 14K with acid. Weight 5.4 g #6 Ring. When I first saw this ring, I suspected it might have a valuable metal as someone put a lot of effort into gouging out the stones. It appears to have been a wedding and engagement ring that was turned into one ring. read more
