Vintage Gold-Finished Spelter & Carrara Marble 4 Chandelier Prism Lamp With Cherub
Up for auction is a large fancy vintage gold-finished spelter & Carrara marble (from Italy) 4 chandelier lamp with a cherub and glass prisms. This lamp measures 39" tall to the top of the harp finial, it spans about 14" wide at its widest point, and base measures 8" in diameter. T are 4 single-lamp chandeliers attached to the post with Roccoco style arms. T is a main lamp fixture that takes a regular-sized bulb; the chandeliers take the smaller base chandelier style bulb. Each chandelier has 6 suspended glass prisms - one chandelier is missing one prism. The base is made from gold-finished spelter and Carrara marble from Italy and features a cherub and ornate scrollwork. This lamp works well. It does have some tarnished patina and as shown in one of the photographs one arm has been repaired. As shown in the last photograph, the marble base of this lamp has a sticker - the marble base has a small chip above the sticker - the rest of the marble is fine. T is also some chipping on the plastic sleeves w the chandelier bulbs screw into the arms. Overall, this lamp is in very good condition and very showy!!
