This highly collectible book from the Golden Regional Guide series is one of the rarest titles in the series - Acadia National Park and the Nearby Coast of Maine. This edition was published in 1968 and I believe it to be a second edition. It has a printing code at the bottom of page 80 (BCDEFG) and the front cover reads "A Golden Regional Guide" at the bottom. The book is written by Grant W. Sharpe of the University of Washington (Professor of Outdoor Recreation) and illustrated by Jane Ingraham Rupp. It measures approximately 4 by 6 inches with a cover price of $1.50. This book is now out of print.I am extremely impressed with the condition of this book. The pages are crisp, with no evidence of folding, tears or writing. The cover and spine are in excellent condition, with only one very minor crease in the lower left corner of the back cover and very light creasing along the front cover indicating where the book has been opened. This 80 page book features full color pictures throughout.Please examine all pictures as they serve as part of the item's description. Note that colors sometimes appear different in person than they do on a computer screen. Vintage items do have the possibility of imperfections.
