Wonderful vintage Gone With The Wind style lamp. This lamp stands 2 feet tall, and is white glass or milk glass with a gold/beige painted color. The lamp features 8 cherub, or children faces throughout the piece. T are 4 faces on the bottom part of the lamp, and 4 faces on the top shade lamp. The lamp also has hand painted pink and blue flowers and green stems in between the faces. The lamp appears to have been an oil lamp at one time, but I'm no expert on lamps, so I'm not sure. The wiring in the lamp is very old, and I would say needs to be redone. The metal bases are a brass tone, and will need to be cleaned.T is some chipping around the top of the lamp shade and the bottom of the lamp shade. The bottom part w the shade fits into the round metal holder cannot be seen, so it does not take away from this amazing piece. I have found no other damage to the glass in the piece.I purchased this yesterday from a lady who buys estate lots. She purchased a pair of these lamps from a movie prop house auction. She doesn't know what they appeared in, but maybe someone will recognize them. I will be shipping the lamp in 2 separate boxes to make sure the lamp arrive safely to it's new owner. Insurance will be required on this piece.
