A set of four nexting silver trays or bowls, by the Mexican master, Gonzalo W. Moreno. The set dates either to the 1940s or the 1950s. While all four pieces are well marked, it is impossible to read the number on the eagle. Each piece is marked on the underside of their supporting stands. The four bowls/trays are in excellent condtion. The largest tray measures Ten [ 10.00 ] inches X Ten [ 10.00 ] inches. Or 25.50 Cms. X 25.50 Cms. It is just under Three [ 3.00 ] inches in height. Or, 7.50 Cms. The next largest tray or bowl measures Nine [ 9.00 ] inches X Nine [ 9.00 ] inches. Or, 23.00 Cms. X. 23.00 Cms. It is about Two [ 2.00 ] inches in height. Or, 5.00 Cms.The Third Bowl/Tray is Seven [ 7.00 ] inches X Seven [ 7.00 ] inches. Or , 17.50 Cms. X 17.50 Cms. It is One & Three-Quarters [ 1.75 ] inches in height. Or, 4.50 Cms.The smallest one is Six [ 6.00 ] X Six [ 6.00 ], Or, 15.00 Cms. X 15.00 Cms. It is also about One & Three-Quarters [ 1.75 ] inches in height. Or, 4.50 Cms. Th entire set weighs Sixty-Six [ 66.00 ] regular ounces. Or, 1871.06 Grams. This works out to about Sixty [ 60.00 ] troy ounces. Adjusting for the silver content which is 925/1000, the four bowls/ trays contain a total of Fifty-Seven [ 57.00 ] Troy ounces of pure silver.
