ANTIQUE WEDGWOOD MAJOLICA 6 piece TEA SET - circa 1880 This delightful ANTIQUE WEDGWOOD MAJOLICA TEA SET bears the IMPRESSED DATE LETTERS for 1880. The SET comprises of a TEAPOT, CREAM JUG and TWO CUPS & SAUCERS all decorated with FLORAL motifs in relief coloured with MAJOLICA glazes. The TEAPOT stands approximately 4 inches (10 cm) high. It bears the handpainted PATTERN NUMBER 2734 to the base and the IMPRESSED MARK 'WEDGWOOD'. The condition is good. T are no cracks, chips or restoration. T is slight crazing and staining most notably to the base. The CUPS stand approximately 2 inches (10 cm) high. They are both free from cracks, chips or restoration. The SAUCERS measure approximately 6 inches (15 cm) in diameter. One SAUCER has a hairline crack running across the base. T are no chips or restoration. The other SAUCER has no chips, cracks or restoration. The CREAM JUG stands approximately 2.25 inches (6 cm) high. An old hairline crack has been restored in the old fashioned way with a metal rivet. The JUG is quite stable. A charming and very pretty ANTIQUE WEDGWOOD MAJOLICA TEA SET which displays beautifully. If you have any questions please ask.
