I am offering up for bid with no reserve a nice old pair of Staffordshire dogs (Spaniels) in a nice cream color not quite bright white with black spots. T is some paint loss but it is mainly on the one dog I think is representing the male. I am pretty sure this is a male/female pair as you often see with the Staffordshire dogs/spaniels and poodles. Ones head is a bit smaller and the tail hangs lower with less of a curl to it. I also see a difference in the ears and in the front legs. The differences are subtle but enough to make you think these are definately a male/ female and supposed to be together as in they started out as a pair and were not put together at a later date. They graced my home for a long time and as I continue ever so slowly to downsize they are now looking for a new home. The male has sustained some damage and I guess you would describe him as a battered beauty. Still very displayable and was in this condition when purchased many years ago. The poor guy was obviously dropped at some point in his life and was left with a repaired tail, right back leg and muzzle. It really sounds worse than it is.The female is in much better shape with only a couple of flaws (hairlines) mainly on the base and her paint is still intact. I am more than happy to send you additional pictures, I took quite a few. Sorry my camera is not that good so showing any faults are hard and I really like people to see what they are buying so t are no surprises and you are happy with your purchase. I am starting these way under what they would sell for even with the damage just to find them a good home. They look lovely on display and unless you are right on top of them the damage is not that bad (my opinion). Measurements are roughly 5"-5 1/4" in height x 4" long (female) 4 1/2" long (male) and the base is 3 1/4" in length x 2 1/4" in width and just shy of a 1" thickness. T is a slight gold band around the base which is more worn on the male dog. I am selling as is all sales final but will always work with you. A good old pair!!
