GOODELL-PRATT HOME COMPANION TOOL SET, COMPLETE & NICE I have a Goodell-Pratt Home Companion Tool Set No 700 complete in the original wood box. Set consists of a No 60 Ratchet screwdriver, 1 ½"; a No 66 ratchet screwdriver, 6"; a No 2 automatic drill with 8 drill points; a No B12 Universal tool handle with all tools; a No 999 nail set; a No 998 Prick punch and a No 997 Drive punch. All of this is housed in a wooden box with a good label inside the lid of the box and a good decal on the outside lid of the box. The only parts that are possibly not original to this set are a few of the drill points. Everything else looks to me to be original, even the nail set, prick punch and drive punch have the "GP" label on the shaft. I have seen less than a handful of these boxes complete with all the tools. These are hard to find. Set is complete and original. All the tools are present. The screwdrivers have seen considerable use and the ratchets are rough and could use some TLC. A previous owner has sawn a "W" in the top of the small screwdriver. Box is nice with good labels and decals and no splits, cracks, etc. . Clasp is present and works. Nice looking set that doesn't pop up for sale every day.My E-Bay philosophy is simple, you are the customer and you decide how you want to handle the deal. I will go along with most anything as long as it is not too outrageous and you keep me informed. If it will be a few days before you get payment to me, no problem, just let me know so I will not worry about it being lost. I do not have any hard and fast time lines on what happens when. Normally I will get the package to the PO the day after I receive payment. If for some reason that will be delayed, I will let you know.As usual, you pay the shipping, insurance extra if desired. I personally recommend insurance if the item cost more than around $50, but you decide. On most items I sell, I try to estimate the postage cost by USPS Priority Mail (my shipping method) and include that up front so you know exactly what the cost of the item will be. I'm usually within a couple of dollars of the correct cost depending on your zip code. Unless it is too heavy or too large I ship everything, everyw by USPS priority mail. Never any crazy handling fees or ridiculous reserves.PayPal, money orders or checks accepted. Please allow a few days for checks if it is an expensive item. On most items I ship right away. So far all (well, most) of my dealings have been with nice, honest people. (As I would expect) . I always leave feedback up front, right after you have paid. Some vendors never leave feedback first, they wait till you have left it, that way if you leave bad feedback they can retaliate. I have talked with E-bay about this problem but they always duck the issue. Anyway, I always leave feedback first because I know t will be no problem with my items (or on the rare occasion t is, I will immediately resolve the problem). My satisfaction policy is also very simple, you are the customer and you decide if you want the item. Satisfaction guaranteed, no exception. Purchase may be returned for any reason or no reason within a week in original condition for a full refund. If it is something I did or failed to do I will also refund the postage. If you just changed your mind or found another one down the street, cheaper or better. I still accept returns except you should pay the postage. Are you interested in Old Tools and Tool Collecting?
