The Preface to the book describes the contents as follows: "The lithographic engraving and lithograhpic printing were done by the Chicago Lithographing Company ...with probably one exception this is the largest establishment of the kind in the United States... The type-setting was done by the Lakeside Publishing and Printing Company -R.R.Donnelley, Manager... The coloring is the work of Warner & Beers and will speak for itself as to the careful manner in which they have accomplished their part of the work.
