Goofy Walt Disney RARE Marx Mechanical Friction Tin Toy ~~~Ladies & Gentleman, It's Simply the BEST of the BEST!~~~ Hello Ladies and Gents! What a splendid friction toy item I have for your viewing enjoyment! I have looked all over ebay and various sites on the net trying to find out something about these old Marx pieces and have found nothing about them. I found this in an attic and it had been t at least 40 years. It is a friction action hard plastic toy Goofy Stanley Steamer car with Goofy at the wheel. It has a tin metal mechanical movement works on the bottom and the wheels are made of rubber. It does have the original sticker on the bottom Marx Hong Kong Walt Disney Productions. The piece does work and has no damage that I can see, very minor paint wear. I do have a reserve on these pieces and will be keeping them if they do not sell as I am quite fond of them being a Walt Disney lover myself! T is just something nostalgic about the old toys!
