Genuine Gordon Hayes (Bits of Silver) Argentine Snaffle Bit, made in the USA. This is one of Gordon's most famous and best selling bit. Very nicely made and attractive bit with 2 large 2" Sterling Silver "Flat Top Conchos" and Silver beads. (5"wide (inner) with copper inlaid sweet iron snaffle mouthpiece, 6 3/4"Shank), "GH" Stamped on inside of lower right Shank. It has been used and at least 15 years old. It has some rusted area from hanging in the tack room, but nothing wrong with it. Gordon still makes this bit today at his workshop on his Ranch near Santa Margarita, California. You can order a new for $285. I have another one for sale (like new, never used) on ebay right now. A nice bit to add to your collection.
