GORGEOUS 1860 TIFFANY & CO STERLING FOOTER SERVING TRAY Presented is an excellent sterling silver serving tray by Tiffany & Co. This fine old piece was made when Tiffany still stamped their wares with their address at 550 Broadway. This particular mark was used between the years 1854 to 1870, probably in the 1860s. This tray has three feet on the bottom, a classic leaf border, and an engraved crest in the center. T are some other bands of engraved decoration around the center of the tray, but they are a bit worn and hard to see. This piece is hallmarked on the back of the tray with Tiffany & Co., Gold & Silversmiths, M, 550 Broadway, and the product numbers 324 and 1397. The tray is in great used condition. T is wear to the border and to a good deal of the serving surface due to use over the years. One of the three legs has been repaired. The repair was well done and is very difficult notice. All of the legs are very strong. This is a very small problem and hard to see as it is on the underside of the piece. Otherwise, the tray is in good condition and t are no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, no other repairs, and no problems of any kind. The tray is 10 inches in diameter. The tray weighs 542 grams or 17.4 troy ounces.
