Current Item: A gorgeous, nicely colored Meg tooth recently recovered from the North Atlantic Ocean. Tooth measurements are: L1 = 4.48, L2 = 4.31, W = 3.61inches. Root color is dark brown and well formed with some matrix still attached to the labial side. T are long shallow fissures on either side of the root. The enamel is a marble-like mixture of black, gray, tan and orange. T is some enamel peel on both sides. T are several nicks and one larger, smoothed chip on the labial side. The nicks may be due to teeth crowding in the shark's jaw but I am not certain. Serrations are very good. Please look at the pictures for a better understanding of this gorgeous tooth.
