Up for auction is a beautiful vintage A. Klingenberg Limoges hair receiver. It is done in wonderful pastels, with a delicate yellow background and flowers in soft lavender hues with light and dark greenery. The encrusted gold is in excellent condition, and I do not see any wear to it. The last photo shows the artist's initials in gold. This hair receiver is in superb condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, etc. Any white spots are due to camera glare. Its green under glaze mark dates it to ca 1890's to 1910, according to Mary Frank Gaston's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain. Its diameter is approximately 5 inches, and it is approximately 3 to 3 1/2 inches in height. It is truly lovely, and would enhance any collection or would make a wonderful holiday gift!
