We hope you enjoy looking at the Beautiful Antique and Vintage Quilts we offer to you(at no reserve) and perhaps you may find one you would love to have in your home to display or use* From time to time we also offer Wonderful Collectable Quilts that range in age from 5-20 years old.We find almost all of these wonderful treasures at Estate Sales and Antique Shops in Missouri. Today we are offering for your consideration a *Gorgeous Antique late 1920's,early 1930's Dresden Plate Quilt* done in all cotton fabrics including feedsack* The pretty *Rainbow of Colors* in the fabrics still show true with little to no fading!* The size of this quilt is 68x82 which is a twin to full or it could also be used as a coverlet on a queen. The batting is a thin layer of cotton and I consider this quilt to be lightweight. What a *Beautiful Tablecloth or Wallhanging* it would make! Handquilted at 6-7 spi the talented quilter also handquilted 7 inch*spiderweb designs between each 14&1/2 inch plate(t a twenty plates) and 4&1/4 inch *daisies in the center of each plate and around the perimeter of the quilt* So pretty :o) Each plate consists of twenty two 4&1/4 inch blocks in an awesome variety of feedsack and novelty prints and solid cotton fabrics.
