I bought this piece of Ivory from a Ebay seller who specializes in preban Ivory. I am not sure if I can mention the name so I won't. It is a very lovely piece. Below in green is the previous sellers description of it. This auction is for a GORGEOUS vintage Ivory Rose necklace !! From the 50's or 60's, it is hand-carved into a fabulous plush Art-Nouveau Rose design with beautiful full split-edged petals that gently curl back, with 5 gently graduating Ivory beads dangles---so elegant and unique !!! And this striking Rose pendant measures a BIG 1.95" wide, and 4.5" long with the Dangles included !! --Distinct criss-cross Ivory graining is very visible in the Rose, as well as in all the beads and screw clasp---100% GUARANTEED by me to be GENUINE VINTAGE ELEPHANT TUSK IVORY !!! The necklace is made with 6mm Ivory beads, two 12.5mm large Ivory beads, and the total necklace length is 18". Well stored and cared for through the decades, it is in excellent condition with a luscious warm and mellow age patina !!! A wonderful addition to any Antique/Vintage jewelry collection--get it for someone special....like you !! --And don't forget, since the ban on new Ivories over 25 years ago, Ivory is a non-replenishable material, so what currently exists is all t is---and is exactly why vintage and antique Ivory is so valuable today. I have only owned it for a couple of months so the description is still acurate. If you find once you recieve it the discription does not match the item contact me and we can work out arrangements for you to return it. Shipping will be a flat $5.00 plus insurance included.
