For your consideration, a beautiful plate with an impressed mark, "Chamberlains" which was only used from 1847-52, a short five year period, shortly before Chamberlains closed in 1856.Made at Worcester, in the mid 19th c. it is a very lovely thing, reflecting all the skills and style of this famous pottery.Of square form, 8.75" in diamter, with clipped corners, it features a nice gold edge, a gorgeous azure blue border, and five exquisitely decorated reserves of floral bouquets. Pieces like this inspired the Haviland brothers in their early years of production, shortly after this plate was made. The blue border also features five white flowers decorated with raised gilded accents. Really nice and very rare. There is a little gold rub on the edge and in the center, but it is minimal and really does not detract from the exquisite beauty of this plate. Thanks for looking.
