GORGEOUS EARLY GEORGIAN HIGH CARAT GOLD RING WITH CLOSED BACK FOILED GARNETS Description Gorgeous early Georgian high carat gold ring set with closed back foiled garnets. The top of the ring measures 5/8ths" long. The reeded shank is stamped to the back posibly a French mark difficult to ake out. The ring tests as high carat gold the setting is part silver, the two smaller garnets either side are set in silver. Weighs 2.5 grams and apart from very minor age related wear to the setting it is in fine antique condition. For finger size lease see image with ring stick.
