This is a gorgeous Fenton colonial blue hobnail apothecary jar, ware # 3689, introduced in 1964 and discontinued in July 1968 (it does not have the Fenton logo). It has a pretty scalloped/sawtooth-like rim that flares slightly outward with a scalloped edge on the pedestal base. It has no residue, chips or cracks that I could find. The color is bright and clear. It measures 11 1/8" tall at top of knob on lid and 5" across the jar opening. A must have for your Fenton/ glassware collection! Damage such as cracks, chips and scratches are always noted when I find/see them. Some pieces may need a good washing (after breaking a gorgeous compote while washing it before shipping, I no longer try to clean glassware before selling). Please ask any questions BEFORE you bid, but don't wait until the last minute as I do work full time and may not be able to answer your question before the
