This is a very unique set, signed by Freirich originally started as a French company and manufactured jewelry under this name in the US. Circa 1960’s the company was influenced by the Victorian style and used ornate filigree, this set set has such beautiful filigree clasps that I would wear them in the front! The beads are sapphire colored crystals and they are interspersed with marbled green bakelite beads (tested/confirmed). The bakelite beads are graduated. The set makes quite a statement. The company is collectible and made a lot of clothing as well as designing buttons for the likes of Chanel and Dior. The necklace measures 15 inches at the shortest of the three tiered strands, the bracelet is 7 inches long by 1.5 inches wide. Only the necklace is signed Freirich and the set is in excellent overall condition.
