These stools are just awesome. The seating surface measures 30" from the floor - standard bar height. The top of the back sits at 42" above the floor. Original upholstery is orange vinyl and is in fantastic shape for the age. There are very minor imperfections in spots but no rips or tears. The pictures tell all. The seats swivel side to side and the springs and mechanisms are perfect. The base is either cast or wrought iron and is a dark brown as seen in the pictures. The aged patina on the bases really makes the barstool.The lone issue seen is the feet on one of the stools is white. These are easily replaced and does not detract from the value or desirability of these stools. They just don't make 'em like this any more. The date stamp on the underside of the stools is September 11, 1965.The stools are not light. Shipping is a max of $125.00 BUT could be less, depending on location.I will be removing each seat from it's base (4 screws) and will ship the seats and the bases separately via FedEx. You can come to my home in Raynham, MA to pick them up as an option as well.I did my best to describe these stools accurately, but please ask any and all questions prior to purchasing.Thanks for looking!
