This is an unbelievably beautiful vintage hand painted porcelain lace figurine. This lovely lady is frozen in a graceful pose, holding up her full skirt and lifting one leg to display even more lace. She may be a dancer. She has brown eyes and hair. Her white bodice has gold laces painted down the front, blue around the arms, and blue porcelain lace at the neckline and waist. Her skirts are so frilly and full, The outer skirt is white porcelain lace with applied porcelain roses and gold leaves. Under her skirt is a ton of blue lace, a petticoat, maybe? She is in very good condition for age, the only lace chipping I could find is one area on the lower front right, and a small one on the left back side at the edge of the lace. T is so much lace that this doesn't detract, she is stunning. All fingertips are intact. She measures about 7" tall. She is marked on the bottom with a blue crown over the mark used by Franz Wittwer, and below that, Made in Germany. T are also impressed numbers I couldn't make out. This beauty would be the star of your curio cabinet! interesting and unique items!
