Up for auction I have a fine LG German Pewter Beer STein. This is a gorgeous item and would be a very unique addition to the pewter lovers collection. This stein is in PRISTINE gently used gift giving condition. T is no dents, dings, scratches, corrosion or discolorations of any kind on this gorgeous German Pewter Beer Stein. **This piece stands perfectly straight contrary to my poor photographs. DESCRIPTION: The stein is quite pretty. The stein features a lovely aged patina finish on the outside, and a sparkling shiney polished finish on the inside. Just under the brim, t is a wide polished band of pewter suitable for engraving to commemorate that special occasion or holiday. The stein features 3 different very ornate scenes. The scenes are each labeled above the scenes with a date. And beneath the scenes, t is a band with a leathery style finish that has 3 plaques naming each scene. The first scene is labeled AM DORFBRUNNEN. The scene shows a rustic farm life scene. T are 2 gentleman sitting at an old wood table. T is a small girl standing at the edge of the table handing some flowers to one of the gentleman. A lady is at a well with a bucket. Chickens are at her feet. Just above this scene it is dated Anno 1910. The second scene is labeled ROMANZE IM PARK. This scene shows a well dressed lady on a swing tied to a tree. T is a small scruffy dog romping on the ground. A gentleman is playing a guitar like instrument to the lady. Lovely trees and flowers throughout this gorgeous scene. Just above this scene it is dated Anno 1765. The third scene is labeled NACH GETANER FELDARBEIT. The scene shows 2 gentleman farm workers resting on some old rotted tree stumps. Their farm tools are laying on the ground. T is a lady standing by. T is also a gentleman riding an old tricycle. The tricycle is the kind with the very large front wheel. The sun is setting off in the background. Incredible detail! The handle handle on the stein is smooth with no detail. The flip on the lid is tall and rolled like a scroll at the very top. Around the base, t is a band of diamonds and dots giving this stein gorgeous sparkle! The pictures don't do this set justice. Absolutely beautiful.
