You are bidding on a Beautiful Handcrafted King/Queen Quilt measuring 96 x 102". The pattern name is called "Lancaster". The quilt top was cross-stitched and embroidered by me and features tulips and folk art birds in colors of rust, peach and green. It was totally hand-quilted by an Amish lady in Kutztown, PA. The quilt top is 100% eggshell cotton percale and the quilt backing is 100% muslin. It comes from a smoke-free home. I hope you can tell by the pictures what a stunning appearance this quilt makes! My reserve is the amount I paid to have it quilted. Hopefully, my many, many hours of embroidery will be appreciated as well. It has never been used on a bed except for when it was photographed. I would recommend dry cleaning for future care. I am an avid cross-stitcher and have done many historic reproduction samplers in the primitive style. This particular quilt top was done about twenty years ago and remained in a bag until I had it quilted last year. I expected to use it, but all our beds are full size and it just doesn't fit properly. The quilt was photographed on a queen-size bed. It is just too beautiful to not be used.
