Up for auction is a beautiful vintage, handpainted tole tray made by the "Goodkind" Company. The label on the back of the tray reads: Hand Decorated, The Home for Trays..The Tray for Homes! It comes with the original stand that has 4 suction cups to hold it in place. The suction cups are a tad cracked and worn, a little stiff..but still hold the tray in place somewhat..keeping the underside of the tray from becoming scratched. Not that anyone sees scratches on the back of a piece! This beautiful hand painted tray measures a whopping 26" x 18" x 2". Black background with rust and organish roses and hydragenas? daisies and lovely green foliage. Please note on the pictures that t are marking or spots for lack of better words. I'm not sure if this was hung in the kitchen as a backdrop behind the stove and has acquired grease markings, if it's from age or what..I honestly don't know. I have gently cleaned this item with a soft sponge, soap and water. I'm hoping someone with a bit of restoration knowledge would be able to bring this lovely item back to it's original glory. Bear in mind, that these markings are only noticable from certain angles and in certain lighting...not seen all the time. The stand is collapsable and measures just a tad over 19" tall. It truly is a stunning piece, even with it's slight imperfections. For some reason I was not allowed to put in approx packaged weight to give a guesstimate as to shipping charges..but I would say shipping would be approximately $20-25 in the USA...All of my items come from a smoke free home, and described to the best of my ability. If you see something that doesn't look quite right, it may be my picture taking, the flash, nothing at all, or something I've missed, (not on purpose mind you!) T may be times I inadvertantly miss something in my description. It's not on purpose either,,,,sometimes things that may be a big deal to you may not be a big deal to me. So, please ask any and all questions prior before placing your bid. I'm always happy to answer any and all questions as all sales are final. Please do not wait until the last few minutes of an auctions end, as I'm not always at the computer at that time! My auctions run for at least 5 days, sometimes 7...so t's plenty of time for communication!If t is not a shipping charge listed, that does not mean shipping is free; shipping is never free! I calculate shipping at auctions end based on your location, insurance preference and packaged weight. Please note: I am not responsible for packages once they leave my posession.
