Gorgeous V intage M urano V enini V enezia L amp This Murano hand blown glass lamp is mid-century, Eames era. The famous glassmakers of Murano, after a long day of routine labor (at the end of day ) were able to indulge their passion by creating unique and one-of-a-kind works of art. These were typically rare and extravagant pieces such as this one. The glassmakers looked forward to the end of day when they could create innovative pieces of their own design. This lamp is large, measuring 16 ½" tall x 11" diameter (top rim). It is in perfect, mint condition - no chips, cracks, or repairs. The glass is a beautiful pure turquoise with white. Lamp is shaped like an Urn, luminating light from the inside. It takes one chandelier size bulb and creates an elegant soft light ambience. This is truly a remarkable piece of Art Glass.
