Gorgeous antique Volkstedt porcelain figural lady. She's sitting on a chair and holding a small bunch of flowers in one hand and a book in her other hand. Her full ornate dress is hand painted with flowers and gold gilt. Lace trims the bottom and also decorates the bodice area and the end of her sleeves. Raised flowers are strewn along the bottom lace and also decorate her bodice and hair. The quality of the piece is superb with a lot of intricate detail. A little puppy is begging for her attention, as he stands on his hind legs looking up at her. The piece is a nice big size measuring 10" wide and is 7 1/4" tall. The condition is very good with the only damage being to the lace along the bottom and a few chips to the raised flowers. The overall display is stunning as you can see.
