Absolutely Stunning Scalamandre/Lee Jofa Cut Velvet Fabric Retail is more than $400 per yard, or $2,000 for this auction, at No Reserve Up for auction are five yards of this drop-dead gorgeous, mid-plus weight upholstery fabric from the world's top design house. Usually only available to the trade, you'd have to pay your designer $400 per yard for this beautiful cut velvet, or $2,000 for these five exquisite yards. Oh, and I clearly need therapy because the starting price is less than $5 per yard with no reserve. However, I will take reasonable Buy it Now offers. The background is a dark champagne heavy cotton covered with cut silk velvet squares in old gold, fawn and pale lavender. Because of the silk in the cut velvet, this fabric absolutely shimmers and catches the light. Each little silk velvet square is .75" x .75" and the fabric width is 60". Perfect for accent chairs, dining chairs, an ottoman, spectacular accents pillows and any other application that calls for a top of the line fabric. This is a particularly versatile pattern. The muted cut velvet blends well with many different color schemes. As it is velvet, the fabric works with more traditional interiors, but because of the geometric pattern, this fabric would be at home in a more contemporary setting as well. I have five yards in this auction and an additional five yards available if you need it. This is overage from a client project and a rarely offered fabric. I prefer PayPal and guarantee the fabric to be authentic and as described. Thanks and enjoy! I've received a bunch of questions regarding the color of this fabric. All the colors are very soft. In addition to the background, t are four colors: the lavender is a true pale lavender; the old gold is a shimmering warm gold; the fawn has apricot undertones and the fourth color is a light warm milk chocolate. FYI, the photo from a distance showing the large piece of fabric has the worst color representation on my monitor. The other two are closest to the true colors, but show a little more orangey than in real life. Bottom line is that this really comes off as a neutral that will blend well with browns, purples, apricots, golds, beiges, etc.
