T are so many amazing features of this little Antique its hard to know w to start! It is a cut glass and Sterling Salt and Pepper cruet set with mustard dish and presumably ivory spoon. It is in excellent condition with the only flaw I saw was a teeny oyster mark on the lower bottom of the mustard bowl. The overall size is one of the many features that makes this unique - it stands at only 3 " tall!! Though this is not my area of expertise, I did do a bit of research on the Maker's Marks and is what I came up with; The holder I believe was made in Sheffield, England in 1880 It is marked with a crown, lion with one paw up a Q and a portrait figure head (Duty mark #5). It also bears the initials JEB which I could not confirm person, but best guess would indicate Joseph Bradbury? The glass pieces also bear maker's marks, but slightly different - They indicate Birmingham - unknown figure - lion with one paw up, the anchor, and lower case i also indicating an 1880 date. They bear only the letters JB, but presumably the same. The bottom of the carrier also bears a makers insignia of W&H inside of a pennant or flag. The mustard spoon is fabulous, I presume ivory? and intricately carved! I have never seen an item of this nature so small, finely crafted, and in such condition. It must be insured, and I will provide further pictures, though read more
