A little history about my jewelry: The jewelry I will be selling mostly dates from the 20th century but mainly from the 1930's to the 1970's. To my knowledge everything to be sold will be an authentic Native American item. I know some about this kind of jewelry so will do the best I can to describe it but I am not an expert. In some cases I will have descriptions that I can refer to and share with you. Your questions are always welcome and I will try to answer them as directly and clearly as possible. Please ask them before the end of the auctions. GORGEOUS UNUSUAL ZUNI 12 TURQUOISE RING This ring is exceptional and a must for any serious collector! This is a most unusual and fabulous Zuni ring from the 1940's hand made and set with 12 gorgeous variegated round natural turquoise stones each measuring about ¼ inch in diameter. The color varies from light clear blue to deep green from age and touch and you can see some soft colored matrix running through some of the stones. The ring is not really what I would consider petit point as the stones are much larger than one would find in a petit point piece. And they are very distinctive in their lovely colors. The stones are set in hand cut saw tooth settings and are secure in their settings with no chips or cracks. The setting is silver, unmarked but tests as coin or higher, and features twisted wire and raindrops used for accent as well as the use of repoussee in the two end pieces that are shaped like arrows or triangles. The shank is a triple split affair and very complimentary to the overall setting of the ring. The face of the ring measures approximately 1 3/8 inches tall by 7/8 inch wide. The ring is a size 7 ½ and weighs 6.2 grams. A very special and unique ring and a must have! Alert! Please remember to go have a look at my other fabulous Native American items. You are expected to pay for your winnings within 5 days of the end of the auction. My items are all pre-owned so that means they are also in vintage and antique condition and not 'as new'. This means some may have minor wear or imperfections from age but this is not considered damage. I will examine everything before listing and disclose any damage or problems I observe. I accept US postal money orders or Paypal . I'm happy to combine shipping for you. I am not liable for any damage or loss incurred during shipping. I charge a $9.00 flat fee for shipping which includes my $4.75 handling fee and delivery confirmaiton. My handling fee includes delivery confirmation plus covers my costs for hiring and paying an assistant, gas, mailing supplies, etc. I use USPS Priority Mail in the continental USA. Insurance is required and is extra based on the final selling price and will be calculated at auction's end. International buyers must get final shipping fees quoted at end of the auction. Write to me for an estimate for international shipping before the auction is over. International shipping by USPS Airmail Parcel Post which allows for required insurance.
