ESTATE FIND! I'll be listing several dolls and vintage items in separate auctions this week. I'll be happy to combine shipping when possible. This particular auction is for one of two IDENTICAL VINTAGE SUNBONNET SUE FULL SIZE QUILTS that I will be selling in two separate auction listings tonight. I'll be happy to combine shipping if you win both of them. The lady having the estate sale told me her aunt made the two identical quilts for her back in the 1950s and the lady said she never used them! She said she just kept them lovingly packed away for safe keeping. And, now, her children told her that they don't want them, so she sold them at the estate sale. Both quilts look unused and gorgeous!! This auction is for ONE of them, but I will be happy to combine shipping if you win both and have them sent inside the same pkg to the same address. I've taken pictures of the quilt while its laid out on top of my full size bed to give you an idea of where it will hang on the sides, etc. This quilt is outlined and backed in turquoise / ocean breeze blue. (The color that was really popular in the 1960s and has now made a come back and is quite popular again.) It's background, etc., is approximately the color of this paragraph. Gorgeous!! I've taken photos from the front, sides and each individual layout of each Sunbonnet Sue on the quilt. Also, I've taken photos from the same areas upon the back of the quilt to show you how wonderful the needlework is and how clean the quilt is, etc.! I've also included a photo of the two quilts folded side by side to show you how identical they are. This would make a gorgeous Christmas gift for the quilt lover on your list and/or for use in a child's room! AND, you have an opportunity to win both quilts if you need two full or twin size quilts that are identical! Of course, on a twin bed the quilts will lay closer to the floor on each side.
