Stunning vintage 131.1 grams, Art Deco style 24" inch strand of Cherry Amber Bakelite Bead/Beads Necklace, 34 beads total ranging in size from a huge 1-1/8" inches round and graduating down to 5/16" inches round, hidden screw clasp, stringing is all original & perfectly matched to the beads & hand knotted between each bead, one knot has a loose string as pictured but does not affect anything, still strong and secure. The beads are milky & opaque when viewed under a strong light. Very good vintage condition, the only marks on the beads are what appear to be pontil marks on 4 of the smallest beads and are original to the making of the beads & one of the large beads has a few tiny golden amber flecks that I think were caused by tiny bubbles during the making of the bead, 1 of the 2nd largest beads has a veined/crackled appearance and is quite beautiful. An overall gorgeous strand of pearls/beads. Beads have been tested as positive with Semi chrome. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for additional photos before purchasing, thanks.
