I usually get things out much quicker, but due to health issues (Multiple Sclerosis) I have to allow for the occasional days when I'm not able to do much. Keep this in mind if trying to contact me as well. I will respond but at times it may take a bit longer. Offered for your consideration is a superb vintage Case XX P172 "Buffalo" clasp pocketknife. This has long been a very popular model with Case collectors and is just a great, sturdy folder all the way around. This is an 8-dot example from 1972. I've owned many examples of this fine knife over the years and this one probably has the nicest handle I've seen. The wood is just beautifully grained and exhibits a deep, rich luster with great grain contrast. The knife is fresh to the market and has basically just sat in its display box for the past four decades or so. It has not been handled and wiped repeatedly like many examples that travel the show/dealer circuits. They don't come much nicer than this gorgeous example.The knife has not been used, carried, or sharpened remains in excellent condition with just a touch of light storage wear in the form of some very minor tarnish as shown. It has not been cleaned or buffed and remains original.
