Lovely ornately beaded crystal basket lamp with superb fruit basket. This unique piece is from a prominent North Texas estate (we're listing two Czech lamps from this same estate). The lamp measures 10 1/2" tall (to top of handle) and approximately 6 1/2" in diameter at it's widest point. The basket is constructed of a really nice, ornate and delicately designed brass frame, fitted w/ graduated, faceted crystal beads. T are four ornate brass feet styled as floral bouquets, w/ the base frame and top rim styled as tree bark w/ "X" cross-hatch's interspersed around. The ornate swing handle features graduated clear faceted beading in a simple brass frame. The blown glass fruit consists of grapes in a wide variety of colors and finishs (green, frosted green, pale violet, clear and clear frosted), dark green etched leaves, a large purple plum, a really big cobalt blue plum, clear and pale green apples, green figs, red holly berries, and an amber pear. Stamped on the metal plate underneath is "Made in Czechoslavakia". The fruit would benefit from a good bath - no extra charge for decades of dust.
